The Cleaning Road Contactor Panel supplies the 630V DC Shore Supply to the cleaning road conductor rails.

The Cleaning Road Contactor Panel consists of a 2 pole 630A 1000V DC Contactor with associated control equipment, earth monitoring equipment, 400A traction grade fuses, and a 4 pole 1250A 1000V DC Disconnector for maintenance. Local controls are fitted on the front of the Panel and it can also be operated via a Remote Control panel.

The Cleaning Road Contactor Panel provides signals to the Overhead Status Indicators and to the Mimic Panel.

Key Features

The Cleaning Road Contactor Panel can be operated locally or from the Remote Control panel.

The Remote Control Panel has an Isolation Switch and is enabled with Interlock Key 0392xxC where xx is the serial number of the Cleaning Road Contactor Panel

The Voltage Monitor circuit gives a secure indication of the status of the outgoing 630V DC and this is used to operate the Overhead Status Indicators, the indicators on the front of the Cleaning Road Contactor Panel cubicle and to interlock the Contactor operation.

The cubicle is a custom designed and built sheet metal assembly, painted to meet the customer specification. The cubicle has four sections, each with its own door, and one section with two doors

The individual doors and barriers provide segregation between the sections and the 630V DC sections also have polycarbonate screens behind the doors.
